Commons:MoveClaim Tool

MoveClaim Tool allows moving or copying structured data on Commons statements from one file to a different file, or from one property to a different property in the same file. The tool was written by Matěj Suchánek, and the Commons version is based on a tool which has been successfully running on Wikidata since 2017.

Installation

Open your common.js file
Add importScript('User:Matěj Suchánek/moveClaim.js'); to it and save
Reload common.js page

Usage

On the file page click "Structured Data" tab. All statements should have small green arrow ("") to the right of "Mark as prominent" text. Clicking it opens a dialog box shown above. If you provide a filename or M-id of a file, a statement can be moved or copied to that file. Alternatively, a statement can be moved or copied to a different property within the same file. The tool always makes sure no duplicate statements are added.
