Description
Македонски: Во експериментот е прикажано добивање на аморфен силициум (1) и магнезиум силицид (2), при редукција на иситнет песок со магнезиум во прав:
(1) SiO2(s) + 2Mg(s) = Si(s) + 2MgO(s); и
(2) 2Mg(s) + Si(s) = Mg2Si(s).

Реакцијата опишана со (1) се иницира со загревање, а потоа е самоодржувачка и силно егзоенергетска.

Осмислено и изведено од Марина Стојановска, Миха Буклески и Владимир Петрушевски, Институт за хемија, ПМФ, УКИМ, Скопје.
English: The experiment shows preparation of amorphous silicon (1) and magnesium silicide (2), upon reduction of powdered sand with magnesium powder:
(1) SiO2(s) + 2Mg(s) = Si(s) + 2MgO(s); and
(2) 2Mg(s) + Si(s) = Mg2Si(s).

The reaction described by (1) is initiated by heating; then it is self-sustained and is highly exoenergetic.

Реакція, описана в (1), ініціюється нагріванням; тоді вона є самопідтримуваною і є високоекзоенергетичною.
